Chapter 10 explains the concept of a flipped class room as an "innovative blended delivery model that is being used in both K-12 and postsecondary classrooms. In a flipped classroom, students listen to prerecorded video lectures for homework before coming to class. This allows them to spend time in the classroom as active learners instead of passive receivers. I have included a link below that is a great source for educational videos that teachers could assign as homework!

Open education broadens the access to the learning and training offered in traditional education systems so that individuals can access it without actually attending the school or university. Open content is information that is freely shared by an individual to be reused, revised, remixed or redistributed. Open Source is software that is made available for people to use. It is commonly free and is a great source for people who are working on a limited budget. If you are interested in learning more about this terms I have included a ling below!

By completing the two powerpoint assignments I learned how to use many features in powerpoint that I didn't even know existed. One of these skills included creating action buttons! I have seen them used in presentations before but I didn't know what they were called or how I could create them myself. Action buttons are extremely useful when creating interactive powerpoints such as quizzes! The only thing I didn't like about assignment 6 was that it was a group project. My group decided to use powerpoint online in order to share our work but unfortunately that limited the features we had to use. Regardless of this set back, we were able to complete our assignment and I learned a lot in the process!
